Did you get a plastic cover for your touchscreen phone, but after a while it’s not so nice anymore? Both plastic and silicone covers are exposed to moisture, dust, UV rays and last but not least bacteria every day. Especially if we take our mobile phone with us, for example, to the toilet. Although dirt may not always be visible, there are practically bacteria deposits on the cover.

You don’t need anything special to clean your phone case. Just what you probably have at home.
A bowl
Gentle soap
A microfiber cloth
In case your case is heavily soiled, add baking soda to the list.
The procedure for routine cleaning of bacterial build-up is easy. Do it differently if the cover is yellowed or has spots on it.
How to clean the plastic cover of the mobile phone?
Pour lukewarm water into a bowl, add mild soap and stir until foam forms.
Soak the cover in the water for at least 30 minutes.
Repeat the process if dirt remains after this time.
Dry the cover with a clean microfiber cloth or let it dry in a dry and well-ventilated place. Do not return it to the mobile phone until it is completely dry. Otherwise, there is a risk that residual moisture will remain on it.
It may still happen that more stubborn stains remain on the mobile phone cover. In this case, sprinkle the stain with baking soda and use a toothbrush to remove it. Finally, rinse the baking soda off the case and dry it with a soft cloth.
Other ways to clean the silicone/plastic cover
It may be that the conventional methods do not work, in which case try another method. This is dirt caused by food or drink stains or, for example, marker pens. What are the other options?
